Job Description

We are looking for QC Engineer to join our team!

What you will do:

  • Responsibility in design and implementation software application.
  • Working with team to develop company’s products.
  • Mentor and train more junior developers.
  • Other tasks will be assigned by the manager.

Primary Role of Position

Software Quality Control (QC) Engineers are involved in software development activities. They work with the development team to evaluate the product quality. They help the development team to find defects/bugs in the software and give useful information about the root causes of such defects.

Responsibilities

  • Help the QC Lead to identify tasks, estimate task effort, duration and cost.
  • Study project requirements; identify vague and incomplete requirements and send them to project manager and other team members to clarify, correct and update.
  • Participate in project review sessions such as requirement review, design review, test plan and test case review.
  • Study SRS, acceptance criteria, design document to design tests.
  • GIdentify project risks and product risks; Assess risk quantitatively and qualitatively.
  • Design, review, and update manual test cases and automation test cases.
  • Prepare and setup test environments, bug tracking system.
  • Execute tests based on test cases/test scripts and report test results.
  • Log, report, and track defects.
  • Evaluate test execution results and report them to the QC Lead.

Your Skills and Experience

  • From 1 years experience in software testing (open for fresher)
  • Have knowledge in testing methodologies, testing process, quality models and standards.
  • Have general knowledge in Database, Networking, Operating system, and Software engineering.
  • Have programming skills and able to write VBScript, JavaScript and C#.

  • Be good at English speaking, writing and listening skills.

Education/Training Preferred

BS. Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline. Bachelor's Degree in non - Computer Sciences/IT can be considered if earning good knowledge/hands-on experience in software development/software testing;
